STRANGERS YOU & I

I can still recall the first day we met.

Simple memories that surely be kept.

He never takes my heart at all.

For it belongs to someone whom I fall.

He has that smile that makes people wonder why,

In the midst of nowhere, I know that was all a lie.

Behind those silly jokes and cheery laughter,

Was a mirror of pain and sadness, looking for answer.

That guy. He always makes me smile.

When he's around, everything is worthwhile.

But now, our world turned out to be blue and gray.

Every time I saw him, the smile in his face seems to fade away.

Why some little things don't matter then?

Those little things I miss all of a sudden.

It's like going back to the day before we met,

Strangers You and I, the song that stuck in my head.

Now I'm only a daydreamer.

Dreaming of becoming good friends, always and forever.

Yes good friends, maybe just friends is a whole lot better,

It makes a lot sense than ignoring each other.

At this moment, I have no options to turn to.

Except the acceptance of what is sour but true,

That sometimes, people in your life will suddenly leave you,

That reality is harsh, a darker hue.

So, i found this poem that i wrote way back on 2011 I guess.

This one really sounds like HIGH SCHOOL ! I know. HAHA.

But anyway, the feeling is still the same. Sometimes you missed the happy times that you guys spent. 

Yeah. Happy memories. 

I just don't get it why it turned out to be like this. But yes,

"Things change and friends leave and life doesn't stop for anybody."

so, be it.
